Strange Sexism of Armenian Police

Strange Sexism of Armenian Police

Member of Parliament Edmond Marukyan who visited the activists arrested during the crackdown wrote that the police sent arrested men for a drug test and women for an alcohol test.

Strange sexism, isn’t it? It turns out that a drunken man is normal, whereas a drunken woman is anti-social.

Apparently, the Armenian male policemen believe that it is not adequate to have women tested for drugs.

Couldn’t the police find a better way to extend the detention of activists for a few more hours?
