Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the official Moscow had officially received a note verbale on terminating the activities of the “Russian House” in Baku.
The diplomat stated that the Russian side declared its readiness to take appropriate measures to complete the registration of the "Russian House".
"Azerbaijan has sent a note through diplomatic channels regarding the termination of the activities of the "Russian House" in Baku. In response, the Russian side expressed its readiness to take appropriate measures to complete the registration of the "Russian House" in line with Azerbaijani legislation. These steps will be taken on the basis of a bilateral intergovernmental agreement on the establishment and operation of information and cultural centers," the diplomat added.
