The Azerbaijan Trade House was inaugurated in Lahore, Pakistan's second largest city and the capital of the Punjab province. The inauguration ceremony was attended by diplomats, notable dignitaries, and businessmen.
Speaking at the well-attended event, Provincial Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman stated that the initiative would strengthen bilateral trade and cultural ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to fostering business-friendly policies, promoting trade, and unlocking global investment opportunities. He noted that substantial investments are being made to facilitate industrial growth and improve the ease of doing business across the province.
The Finance Minister emphasized that the platform would create new investment and business opportunities, allowing traders and entrepreneurs from both countries to expand networks, increase trade volume, and establish long-term economic partnerships.
The Provincial Finance Minister also invited Azerbaijani investors to explore Punjab’s thriving market, highlighting tremendous opportunities in the textiles, agriculture, information technology, and energy sectors.
He expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan Trade House would serve as a cornerstone of economic cooperation, further strengthening the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The establishment of the Trade House in Lahore will significantly enhance trade and investment ties between the two brotherly countries.
