Eurasian integration promises higher inflation rate in Armenia
Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union promises a surge in the country’s annual inflation rate, Haykakan Zhamanak reported.

Citing its sources close to the Ministry of Economy, it says that the earlier estimates forecasting a 1.5% increase in the commodity prices are no longer actual, with the list of the products granted temporary privileges having essentially changed.

New estimates now signal the risk of a 3% price rise which, according to the paper is lkely increase the estimated 4% annual inflation rate to 7%.
