RIO-2016: Azerbaijani judo fighter wins silver medal at Rio Olympics - UPDATED
Azerbaijani athlete Rustam Orujov (weight category 73 kg) has won a silver medal in the finals as part of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Aug. 9.

He lost to Shoshei Ono from Japan in the fight for the first place.

Azerbaijani athlete Rustam Orujov (weight category 73 kg) advanced to the final in judo competitions as part of Rio 2016 Olympic Games on Aug. 8.

Orujov gained a victory over the Israeli Sagi Muki.

In the final Orujov will meet two-time world champion Shoshei Ono from Japan.

Azerbaijani judo fighter Rustam Orujov (73kg) has progressed to the semifinal of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games after defeating Hungarian Miklos Ungvari.

Orujov will next face Israeli Sagi Muki.

In the round of 16, Orujov beat Australian Jake Bensted by ippon.

Orujov gained a victory over the Australian judoka Jake Bensted.

Hungary’s Miklos Ungvari will be Orujov’s next opponent.

The 31st Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio on Aug.5-21, while the 15th Summer Paralympic Games will take place on Sept.7-18.
