‘Azerbaijani athletes win 837 medals in 2016’

‘Azerbaijani athletes win 837 medals in 2016’

“Azerbaijani athletes grabbed 837 medals at the international tournaments, including 297 golds, 250 silvers and 290 bronzes,” said Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2016.

The Azerbaijani Minister noted that more than 200 national and 52 international tournaments were excellently organized in the country in 2016.
