Trump promises Erdogan to take Gulen extradition request seriously

US President Donald Trump assured the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he would take the issue of extradition of US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, accused of staging the coup in Turkey, very seriously, the Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said.

"During the conversation of presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Donald Trump, the US president assured that he would take Turkey’s request to extradite Gulen very seriously," Sputnik cited Kalin as saying.
