23 people, including Iranian diplomat killed in Beirut`s explosion
By Umid Niayesh, Temkin Jafarov - Trend: An explosion took place in Beirut, which killed 23 people, 146 more got injured, Tasnim News agency reported on Nov. 19.
Two of the killed people are Iranians, one of which was Iranian embassy`s culture advisor Ebrahim Ansari.

According to the report Lebanese Prime Minister, Najib Azmi Mikati has talked with Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Ghazanfar Roknabadi on the issue.

Earlier, Lebanese police said that a car bomb exploded near the Iranian embassy in Beirut on Tuesday, and killed 23 people.
The explosion took place in an area in the south of Beirut, which is mainly controlled by the Iran-backed Shiite movement Hezbollah.

The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon and embassy staff are safe, a statement from the embassy says.

According to the Lebanese media, two suicide bombers are behind the attacks.

According to IRINN`s report there maybe employees of the Iranian embassy among the injured.
