Akar said that in this context, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are working to improve the joint armed forces as part of TAKM project.
The TAKM main function is to coordinate the internal forces and the command of gendarmerie of the member-states, to ensure the integration, to strengthen the fight against terrorism and other threats, to support the reforms and to exchange the experience.
The joint forces of four countries - TAKM (the first letters of the member-states) were established with the participation of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia in February 2013.
The organization was established to strengthen the cooperation among the law enforcement organizations of military status located in Eurasia.
