Iran to unveil new nuclear achievements
On April 7, Iran will unveil new nuclear achievements in power generation and medical fields, according to Atomic Energy Organization of Iran spokesman Behrooz Kamalvandi.
“As for uranium enrichment also, we will pursue our plans in full force and our machines will reach industrial enrichment levels in due time,” he told Iran’s radio Goftogoo March 16.

Things are developing regarding IR-8 centrifuges as well as radiopharmaceuticals and radio-isotopes, he asserted.

“We can expand our relations with other countries, especially regarding power plants where we need a lot of development,” Kamalvandi said.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi announced February 17 Tehran`s willingness to cooperate with Japan in building small nuclear power plants.

In its first post-JCPOA report on Iran, the IAEA Board of Governors has Iran’s adherence to its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

On Feb. 17, the IAEA that Iran had a stock of heavy water of 130.9 tons, exceeding a limit of 130 tons set by the deal. But a shipment of 20 tonnes out of the country a few days later brought it beneath that threshold.
