President Ilham Aliyev approves law "On media"

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday approved the Law "On media", AzVision.az reports citing the president's press service.

In accordance with paragraphs 1, 10, and 13 of Part I of Article 94 of the constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the law determines the organizational, legal, and economic foundations of the activities in the media sector, as well as the general rules for receiving, preparing, transmitting, producing and distributing mass information.
